...Texas Tech. Just heard today from a TT alum that it was announced there, and sure enough, it's on the home page of the Lady Raiders website.

Makes me wonder why our transfers haven't been announced on the UCSB website yet...??

The story about Alex Mitchell transferring to UCSB was reported in the Santa Barbara News-Press a couple of weeks ago.

I saw quite a few Cal games. Adrian's play diminished in her soph season after a reasonably promising frosh season. Granted Cal was loaded and she wasn't relied upon much offensively, but her shooting percentage went way down and her minutes diminished. I am not bashing her whatsoever, I think she will be a good player for us, just not a difference maker even in the big west.

Morris, on the other hand, is a big loss for Cal imho. She is a very athletic, up tempo G....

Where do you all get your information? I live in Corvallis and there is no word that Alex is leaving. There has been no story to that affect. There is no mention on the OSU Women's Basketball website. Not even a hint in the local forums. Again, where did you all get the info that Alex Mitchell was coming to UCSB?

Mitchell appears to be a very nice get for us.

I don't see Adrian as a difference maker for our program at all. Morris, on the other hand........yes a potential difference maker.

That info (but not the story) was already posted here 4 or 5 days ago, confirming Adrian and Mitchell as the two transfers.

Here is another story with the same date which gives us a little more information. Morris is not considering us if you are to believe her list of schools she is considering. I believe the story that JRaffety posted had Adrian visiting New Mexico(?-I don't know where I got this idea).
