After seeing how well the Warriors played against Pepperdine I would have picked a final score just about like this one for the Gaucho opener. But it was actually much closer than that. Westmont is so well coached with head coach Kristen Moore and former UCSB assistant Tony Newnan and now Meghan Gnekow, former USC star and sis of our own Ariana (who started tonight and played well).
It was not a scrapbook performance though coach Gottlieb may want to scrap it. Both the UCSB offense...

I guess I was a little surprised when I looked at the press-release for tomorrow night's game. I guess I would have expected Margaret Johnson to start, but who would I have left out? The release says:
